GCET(Gujrat Common Entrance Test) PATTERN

The previous GCET test had questions on Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Reading Comprehension, Verbal ability and General Knowledge. There was negativemarking .There were 125 questions in total to be solved in a period of two hours.

The following was the eligibility criteria:
Graduates with not less than 50 % marks in any discipline from a recognized university of Gujarat state.
Graduates from Universities situated outside Gujarat state and which are recognized by the Association of Indian Universities will be eligible, if they have passed Std. XII or its equivalent from a school located in Gujarat state.

Selection Criteria:
The determination of merit for admission was calculated on following basis (in terms of weightage):
Written Test 70%
Group Discussion 10%
Personal Interview 20%
The candidates who were short listed through the written test were called for GD and PI.

Pattern of ISBAT
There were 225 questions to be solved in 3 hours. There were 4 sections and each section had time limit.
